To provide its members with seminars, courses, brochures
etc. that will teach them which furs are allowed for trading
by the laws and regulations of the government, as to protect
wild nature and environment in our country and to encourage
them to do business in harmony with free trade conditions.
Vision & Mission:
1)
To carry out necessary actions in order to protect and
enhance common economical and social interests and to
represent our members in every possible platform for this
purpose.
2) To closely monitor the preparation and application
phases of laws concerning our sector and to share our legal,
economical and managerial opinions on such subjects with
relevant authorities and to communicate our whishes and
requirements on behalf of the sector.
3) To carry out activities regarding processing
techniques and trading of furs of wild and domestic animals
in order to help economical development of our members.
4) To inform and direct our members on subjects
regarding foreign trade and foreign markets and enabling
individual and group participation of our members in
national and international professional exhibitions and
displays.
5) To participate in bids for the benefit of our
members in national and international auctions, where furs
of wild and domestic animals are sold, and to enable
information flow and to bring that information to our
national members.
6) To carry out activities that will provide
officials, real and legal entities, community and scientists
with information on fur sector.
7) To organize seminars, courses, conferences that
will increase the level of knowledge of our members, to help
development of national savings and investments and to carry
out scientific researches and to publish them.
8) To act as an intermediate in disputes that
directly or indirectly effect our members, to act as an
expert in national and international courts, customs,
chambers of trade and industry, and to initiate necessary
actions to protect the rights of our members through our
association in every single dispute and problem that may
rise that effects our members.
9) To cooperate with vocational training
organizations relevant to our sector in order to help
development of fur industry in Turkey.
10) To work in coordination with Turkish Institute of
Standards and all other relevant official organizations to
establish standards for fur industry.
